Pyros, Guardian of Fire

I resent the notion that all unicorns are delicate, pretty, and fru-fru. Pyrose, Guardian of Fire, resents it as well.

If I remember right, this is the first picture I signed as PrairieGhost--I had just returned from DragonFest, where I'd spent a week being called PrairieGhost instead of Lydia, and it just seemed to suit my artwork better. As for the picture, it took me four days to complete, painted completely with the mouse, and yes--I know the anatomy is off in several places. I was trying to deviate from the "horsey" anatomy and hadn't quite figured it out yet. Critiques discouraged, because this is a fairly old piece and I think it came out as well as one could expect at that time.
